Following the fatal incident of flood and mudslide that took place across the country, YAEDASL on the 3rd September 2017 in collaboration with Epitomes Foundation oversaw joint donations of schooling materials worth over two million Leones to over 200 two hundred school going flood child victims at the culvert community,  Ferry Junction at the eastern coast of Freetown as school was on the verge of reopening. Furthermore, a draw therapy session was successfully conducted by our social work team which aided most of the children whom cannot narrate their traumatic experiences except via drawings. We did our best but could not cater for a lot of others who are equally in need.
